Gas powered remote controlled cars are the quickest, most exciting, and the most powerful of all the radio control cars. These cars run on a mixture that is referred to as "nitro" or "glow fuel".
There are two different types of gas powered RC cars:
1. Ready To Run "RTR". If you purchase a RTR gas powered car you can take the car right out of its package and run it on your tack in no time flat.
2. The Kits. Gas powered RC car hobbyists love to build their own cars and opt to buy the kits. Building your RC car can give you a sense of accomplishment, not to mention it makes your car more personal.
Only use the fuel that the manufacturer recommends for that vehicle. The manufacturer designs the fuel for their cars to run off and it keeps your car from breaking down. Keep extra batteries on hand, or get a battery charger, so you don't have to cut your fun short.
